The Hollis Woman’s Club is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, the oldest and largest volunteer women’s organization in the world. Our club was organized in 1906 and has been active in the community ever since. The goals of the club are fourfold: Social Activities, Educational Needs, Civic Support, and Philanthropic Donations.

We work locally to bring about positive change in our community in a variety of ways. The Hollis Woman’s Club runs the Hollis Strawberry Festival in June, the Hollis Apple Festival in October, as well as the Apple Pie Contest at the Hollis Old Home Days celebration in September. We also hold two yard sales every year, usually in April and October.

We provide volunteer and financial support for civic needs such as youth, senior citizen, education, conservation, and other activities in the local community. The majority of the money raised at events run by the Hollis Woman’s Club, through member donations, and sales of merchandise, are donated to a wide variety local charities and fund 3 scholarships each year for college students.
