The Hollis Woman’s Club funds 3 scholarships each year. Money for the scholarships is raised through member donations, and sales of merchandise at the festivals and events sponsored throughout the year by the Hollis Woman’s Club.
Two of the three scholarships, each for $1000, will be awarded to high school seniors who are residents of Hollis or Brookline. The first of these is for a student who plans to study at a four year college, and the second is for a student who plans to attend a two year program. The deadline to submit one of these scholarship applications is April 7, 2021. Scholarship applicants will be notified by May 3, 2021 regarding status of application.
The third scholarship is our alternative scholarship, also for $1,000.00. This scholarship is available to one woman (must be a New Hampshire resident) who is working toward completing a program or degree that will help her learn a new skill, or return to or advance in a job. One scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded and will paid to the educational agency where the student is enrolled. Deadline (postmarked) for Hollis Woman’s Club alternative scholarship is April 2, 2021. Scholarship applicants will be notified by May 7, 2021 regarding status of the application.
